Miami Hosting 28th Regional in Program History

Despite going .500 over the final third of the season and getting mercy-ruled out of the ACC Tournament, the Miami Hurricanes are the #6 national seed and will host their 28th regional as they welcome Ole Miss, Canisius and Arizona. The Canes will open versus Canisius and if everything goes according to plan, their big test will be against an Ole Miss team that was #1 early in the season before hitting a major lull just like the Canes, though they seem to have come out of theirs while we seem to be in the midst of ours. If the Canes get out of this, they will advance to a Super Regional, that most likely, they’ll host. The Canes last hosted a regional in 2016

Here’s the great thing about baseball, you can snap out of a funk at any time. It takes a single moment that just takes off. Also, after being on such a run of mediocrity, we’re due to bust out in a big way. Hopefully this Canes team is about to dominate this regional.

About the Author: Legend Staff

The Legend Staff is comprised of some of the hungriest young writers in South Florida. They are the cogs in the Legend engine that nobody knows. If you need to put a face to them, think minions with Canes tattoos. Unless thinking that is a copyright violation. In that case just think of them as worker ants. Easily removed with a magnifying glass if they get out of line.
