Canes have a new rowing head coach

I’m not going to sit here and pretend I know much about NCAA Rowing. I don’t. But I can certainly tell when someone has a resume or, CV if you will, that qualifies them for a gig. The Canes needed a new Rowing head coach and AD Dan Radakovich went out and got one that has a wealth of experience. James Mulcahy has been the first assistant at Alabama for the last 6 years and during that time he helped lead the Crimson Tide to their first ever NCAA Championship showing, 13th in 2021. Now here’s where I blow your mind…while at Alabama, he helped get 17 all Big-12 Team members. Yeah, who knew Bama rowed in the Big-12…not me. Best of luck to coach Mulcahy as he gets his era underway at The U!

About the Author: Legend Staff

The Legend Staff is comprised of some of the hungriest young writers in South Florida. They are the cogs in the Legend engine that nobody knows. If you need to put a face to them, think minions with Canes tattoos. Unless thinking that is a copyright violation. In that case just think of them as worker ants. Easily removed with a magnifying glass if they get out of line.
