OBB Reacts: Neon Lights Return

The Miami Hurricanes just announced arguably one of their sickest uniforms to date. The neon infused Miami Nights are sleek, stylish and sexy. The city of Miami is a cultural hot bed that is known for many things. The sites and sounds can have the cadence of Latin infused rhythms but there is an undeniable hum underneath it all.

Neon is synonymous with Miami. The neon buzzing could be heard echoing brilliantly throughout the South Beach night life. Even if you do not notice its existence, neon is everywhere. So Adidas blending the Miami night uniforms with Neon is a perfect matrimony.

Night games are just different in Miami. They are. When it is an atmosphere that attracts attention, when a show is in town, Miami fans show up. In 2017, 65,303 rambunctious and rowdy fans showed up for a Saturday night beat down of Notre Dame.

After the loss former ND player and Captain Drue Tranquill had this to say about the atmosphere. “I think just credit to them all over the place. Credit to their fans. That was the loudest game I’ve ever played in. I think that really added an element to help them.”

The coach Mario Cristobal era is upon us and it is nice to see a little Oregon flair followed with him from Eugene. The next big night game Miami plays will do so in accentuated neon style. Traditionalists are going to hate them. The kids are going to love them. Regardless, Adidas is going to get credit on this one. These uniforms are flawless.
