Hurricanes Announce 2023 Baseball Schedule
The 2023 Miami Hurricanes Baseball Schedule has dropped and there is plenty of excitement around the program. Coming off a 40-20 season a year ago, the Canes enter 2023 with zero question as to who the head coach will be. Gino DiMare penned a healthy contract extension in the offseason. It ensures that when we talk about Canes baseball, there will be a ‘Gino Era.’
This season will consist of 54 games with 32 of them at The Light. The Canes will battle 8 teams that played in last year’s postseason for a total of 24 games. The season kicks off at The Light on February 17th with a 3-game set against Penn State. The Canes will hit the road for the first time on Feb 28th in Boca for a quick game before visiting Gainesville for a 3-game set March 3rd-5th.
The Canes will open ACC play at The Light against NC State March 10-12. Florida State visits March 31st through April 2nd and UCF will visit two days later April 4th. The schedule features 8 games versus FIU, FAU or UCF. The ACC tournament is set for May 23rd – 28th. The Regionals start June 2nd and the Super Regionals begin June 9th. If Omaha is in the cards, the fun begins on June 16th.
The Canes had a hell of a ride last year! And while they lost some major pieces, they return plenty! Let us see if they can build on that this season and take us all to Omaha!
