The OBB Welcomes U: Nathaniel Joseph

The Orange Bowl Boys welcome Nathaniel Ray-Ray Joseph to the University of Miami. The 5’8″ 170 pound receiver from Miami Edison High School in Miami, Florida committed to the Hurricanes on June 28th, 2022. Nathaniel Joseph was recruited by Josh Gattis and held offers from Clemson, Alabama, UF, FSU, and Georgia to name a few.

This projected slot receiver is the type that can take a simple bubble screen and stretch it for six. Joseph is a flagship recruit in this class. And a perfect representative of the all-around character Mario Cristobal is aiming to build the future culture with. Salute to Nathaniel Ray-Ray Joseph for being recognized as a top ESPN 300 athlete and a heralded OBB Four Orange Recruit.

The wide receiver room is undergoing a makeover with the departures of Keyshawn Smith, Romello Brinson, and potentially others before the 2023 season kicks off. The incoming freshman has a favorable path to immediate playing time as he can make people miss in a phone booth and has the burst to take the top of college defenses now.

“If I have to go out there and snap the ball at center or throw a football, that’s what I’m going to do, and that’s what the other guys are going to do. We definitely just want to come in and change the program and do whatever it takes to help the program get back to what it used to be.” – Nathaniel Ray-Ray Joseph

“That boy fast.”
