The OBB Welcomes U: Reuben Bain

The Orange Bowl Boys welcome Reuben Bain to the University of Miami. Simply referred to as “Hurricane” the 6’2″ 250 pound elite edge rusher played high school ball for Miami Central. Bain’s primary recruiter is listed as Rod Wright and he held offers from Alabama, FSU, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Oregon, Penn State and Texas to name a few.

Mario is stacking the trenches and Bain was simply a recruit you couldn’t let get away. Hurricane has a relentless motor and totaled 29.5 sacks alone in his junior year. He comes in with an early day 2 NFL draft grade and is a member of the ESPN 300. Bain is also proudly listed as a OBB Four Orange Recruit.

Bain in the brother of Reggie Bain a four year starter at FAU and now a graduate assistant at the University of Miami. The family connection, home town allure and the power of the loafers were just too much for Hurricane Bain to pass up. This is exactly the type of monster in the trenches you need to build your program around.

“You know rivals are going to blame his brother as the reason he signed with us.”

“I know.”

“Losers.”
