Wake up sunshine. This is your official Wednesday morning Wake Up call from your hump day kings the OBB. We focus on the academic side of things and the Canes hoopsters rebounded in a big way. The Greentree awaits. #LETSGO! Wake up!

“They were smart enough to know Josh Gattis’s offense didn’t work.”
“You didn’t have to be an Academic All-American to figure that out.”
Congratulations to Anez Cooper on being named to the All-ACC Academic Team!

Hard Woodies
Nijel Pack was on fire. The third year sophomore bucketed 17 points with five treys from behind the arc. The result was that the Miami Hurricanes notched another conference win beating Virginia Tech 92-83. Pack and the Hurricanes once again proved to be formidable home warriors.
At one point Pack had 17 of Miami’s 19 points and his final stat line was formidable. The ice Pack was stone cold with 6/8 from FG and 5/7 from 3P. The Hurricanes also had major contributions from Norchad Omier who scored 21 points. And Isaiah Wong contributed 18 points and five steals.
The Hurricanes are undefeated at the Watsco Center with an impressive 11-0 record. This was a remedy game after the Hurricanes inexplicitly lost by giving up the final 11 points to the Pitt Panthers last Saturday.
🏀 Canes Hoops Stat of the Day: In the last 2:30 of the 4 ACC losses Miami has been outscored 27 to 6, averaged 2 TOs, and shot 2-12 or 17%. (Doesn’t include OT against Nc State.) You have to finish games strong in March. LETS GET A DUB TONIGHT! #caneshoops

X’s and Ro
In the X’s and Ro channel, resident optimist Noobert (Sarcasm Font) took a 24 hour ban. We would like to wish him well and offer the hashtag #freeNoob in support. Yes. We know the Mario Cristobal coaching search is like watching paint dry at times. But at least by taking his time, he gets it right. Just like last time.
“I’m here for the anarchy.”
“Already boring in here.”
“Free Noobert.”
“He’s just big mad watching from the window.”
